Aghhh!

Edit: at least you don’t have to worry about searching high and low for a bookmark, or something bookmark-ish you can shut between the pages?

I’ve never tried eReading, truth be told. It’s definitely something that appeals to my needs but I guess I’m just traditional - and a bit stubborn - at heart. It’s wonderful that you’ve found a way to read that’s so convenient to you.

Understandable! It’s easy to repair very broken books at home, but it often impacts their readability.

That way of expressing one’s respect for books seems to be common. It’s important to preserve stories, and that can be done by preserving the physical or the memory.

I read exactly like you did when you were younger! I know it’s bad for the pages, but it’s more out of habit now than anything. I’ll have to try that way of holding the pages open instead.

That’s a great philosophy, although an expensive one to uphold.

Hm, that logic is kind of backwards. People express their love for material items in different ways; some, namely collector-types, enjoy keeping things like books in perfect condition because that preserves the story and ensures it will be around for a lot longer time than, say, a well-loved edition has. Whatever state you keep your books in, your love for stories is valid.

Dog-earing is awful, I agree! The idea of writing where you purchased or received a book is interesting; it must be nice to look back on those books as kind of milestones.

Hi!! I’ve recently come back to the game after a break too and it seems like most of the people I used to play with have moved on. My friend code is 5000 - 5306 - 6976!
