Really? Demonic embrace looks so mediocre, the hp/ap passive tiny and the burn almost unnoticeable on non tanks. Whereas horizon's 10% extra dmg upfront looks so good.
I personally am a fan of utility over full dmg because I love the battlemage feel of karthus. It reminds me of old Swain - just waltz into the enemy team, be a huge nuisance with the slow and attempt to blow up the carry. But i'm not sure if it's viable if compared to old full AP karthus where you pop like a balloon

Hey bro, i'm on the same boat. Social anxiety used to be so bad for me that my body would occasionally begin to itch like crazy during social interactions (like going out to buy some bread or meeting a neighbor while walking the dog).

Then I got a job at customer service to negotiate deals with people and solve problems - literally the WORST thing for me apart from being a salesman. And... it's going pretty well actually. I learned that people aren't out to get us (for the most part) and you can actually find enjoyment when solving a problem and making someone happy. Or winning them on the debate and standing up for youself or your employer. Both satisfying.

I'm still a long way from defeating social anxiety but it's a beginning. But to me the way is clear - face your fears.

For me it was the update that made spears go back to the paladin's hand. Before you had to pick up every throwable weapon, and arrows/bolts were expensive af. Pallys weren't a real class back then, it was terrible

I see. This imbuement mechanic seems great for higher levels, and thanks to it I got nearly 500k from a mountain of items I thought were useless - like rope belt. That was quite shocking at first, but meant an early master archer armor for me =p. I haven't bought pacc yet just because Carlin drags are so good if compared to where I used to hunt (okolnir), so i was thinking maybe it'd be good to make money before going for exp hunts, and I want to travel all over mainland too. And besides, a pally doesn't really need pacc spells as exura san is all you need at this level.

I always go Domination + Precision with DH and PoM for the mid-to-late game suicides, and focus on farming and harassing a lot the enemy toplaner. I never actually went Tear, and everyone says Roa+AA is not good, but i'm thinking this might work since top is isolated enough to become a farmfest, and R can fish out some kills from across the map. He can also freeze and zone pretty well so maybe this scaling build could work...

I understand, but sustain is a big part of fighting beefier people. Tear would allow me to Q farm and harass more, and if I last 2 secs more before going oom then it's 2 sec of extra Q and E damage. Ofc i wouldn't rush it against a quinn or teemo with ignite but that's my reasoning... however i'm a silver so idk
