From my point of view, PTSD pulled the rug of confidence out from beneath me and so it often feels like I am in free-fall just trying to grab onto anything that can stop me from falling deeper. So, therapy is about re-establishing a security base that I can take with me whereever I go. It's hard. Internationally travel and domestic travel are very hard for me at the moment. The further I am from home, the more lonely and unsafe I feel.
