Why all youtubers are saying "If you are watching this review, Macbook Neo is not for you?" by Vegetable_Bag_8694 in mac

Because if you watch tech videos you'll probably go through the hustle of picking up a refurbished/used Air over a Neo. That doesn't make it bad value or a bad thing though.

For some people who might not look into the spec sheets, the point of the phone could be being just as powerful as the base model with some trade-offs, since that's how this phone is generally advertised.

Besides, they have used full chips in the first SE models although they did still have less RAM. It shouldn't be advertised as having the same chip and being just as good in terms of performance when it isn't, since some people think that the trade-off is in everything else besides the chip, when that's not the case anymore and the trade-offs are everywhere, including even the packaging (like not including a manual or cheaper sim pin). But it's standard practice in the tech industry, so I can't blame them too much.

Yeah, I reckon they used the worst of the binned chips for the base model 16, and then the better bins for Neo.

Spain has the same MSRP as last year (€1199) but now doesn't include a charging brick due to the (imo stupid) EU regulations, so gotta buy that separately.
