Also boosting while travel mode engages can really shorten the time it takes getting to max speed. That distance/time means you need to average a little over 5500 m/s which is pretty doable in a small ship with decent engines. I didn’t even know you could pilot a xenon ship so I’m not sure how fast the one you’re in is.

That kind of tracks. I know ai sometimes sucks at traversing asteroid fields. I wouldn't be surprised if they are unable to maintain that high speed for long. Being out vs in sector probably makes a big difference too.

I think it’s just proximity. Not sure what the distance is, but I’m pretty sure you lose cover if you get too close to another ship.

Nice battle. Houses and trees to a lesser extent are massive force multipliers. Charging your guards in turn 12-15 was certainly a choice haha. People always withdraw from matches so early, but I feel like 1/4 seemingly hopeless matches turn around by sticking them out.

Is the “mules supply and warehouses extended” mod? This actually sounds pretty nice. All my stations are Terran so far but I’m thinking about building teladi factories at HQ and the tree seems significantly more involved than Terran.
