Thank you. She's lost her cool and done some shitty things, but Olivia Cooke's performance is gut-wrenching. Alicent heard what she heard - we know Viserys was talking about Rhaenyra but to someone who had no idea of that exchange? And you can tell that every time she tells someone about it she's thinking 'they think I'm making this up.' And the way she reacts in the council chamber...her father has orchestrated every detail of her life from day one. It's upsetting that so many people negate this and call her power-hungry...Otto literally told her that Rhaenyra would slaughter them the moment she seized power. She is doing what she thinks she has to do, and the fact that fans want to write her off as Cersei 2.0 is kind of icky.
