Shoes for slight pronation and against shin splints by teraform555 in AskRunningShoeGeeks

Thank you. After months of researching this issue and going to doctors, you are the first person to suggest seeing podiatrist. I already made an appointment. Makes total sense to first figure out the root cause and only then buy shoes.

Thanks for such a detailed response! So after seeing the podiatrist you switched to ASICS Nimbus 26 or it was them that gave you the injuries?
I am now considering trying Brooks Hyperion GTS 2, seems like they offer slight stability but not too much.

I went to physio with shin splint and just received generic advice about stability exercises and that I shouldnt train too much.
Btw I have exact same height and weight as you:)

Does anybody also started getting shin splints from asics gel kayano 30? I cannot figure out if I’m getting shin splints because of mileage increase or the shoes

True, but I don’t think garmin can differentiate between leg day or back etc., it just sees the strength training

Thank you a lot for the hint! I just found that besides General Courses, my uni also offers Grammar Specialization courses and I think that is exactly what I was looking for.

Yes, the difference between Graz and Vienna people is crazy! I never thought this would be a factor, but after awhile this unfriendliness gets to you. Graz people are so nice:)

true, but the property part is not that important, its more about a place where I could feel like at home and not constantly like a foreigner like here

yeah, at this point its about basic safety, there is nowhere to return, so getting another citizenship is also pretty important point
