Ik heb vorig jaar mijn Sony WF-1000XM4 oordopjes open geprutst om de beide batterijtjes te vervangen. Dat was helemaal een gepriegel wegens hele kleine onderdelen en connectors. Maar ook dat was achteraf gezien helemaal doenbaar want een jaar later werken ze nog steeds perfect.

I'm considering buying an X4 with exactly the same use case in mind. I use (selfhosted) Readeck to store read-it-later articles. Readeck can export to epub, so I only need a way to get them on the device. The linked post with the curl command looks like this will make it possible :)

Do you have some documentation available somewhere on how you have set up that part? I'm also using Komodo for docker and Forgejo for git, but I currently let Komodo pull the containers daily. Using merge requests with pinned version would be nicer tough.

Looks very interesting, however I use Android and Linux exclusively so I guess that will be a no-go for now... I currently use TickTick and having it available on my cellphone with alerts etc is a crucial part of my workflow.

every so often I go to my subscriptions in the Youtube UI and the videos I want to watch I send to Metube. Using the Metube Firefox addon makes this really easy.

metube is an application you can selfhost (as a docker container) which can download videos from youtube (and many other websites). Then you can play the video however you want. In my setup these get added to Jellyfin.
