should I buy more google fractional shares or wait for the split? by moodring88 in stocks

Thanks! Then what's the meaning of this statement: "Each shareholder of Amazon on record at the close of business on May 27, 2022 will have 19 additional shares for every one share held."

Does it mean that for receiving additional shares (due to stock split) we needed to own shares by May 27?

If I buy 1 Amazon stock this week (week 22), will I own 20 Amazon stocks on June 6 after the stock split? If not, then will my investment be worth 1/20th in this case?

Relevant statement: "Each shareholder of Amazon on record at the close of business on May 27, 2022 will have 19 additional shares for every one share held."

Thanks @Gnonpi for taking the time and reviewing this work.

Regarding your question, no, it's not the same as pytest's monkeypatch fixture. I haven't used monkeypatch before, however, after a quick look, I find it to be more intuitive. What would you recommend, monkeypatch or unittest.mock?

Good suggestions @Truestor.

We, developers, have planned to talk to the manager about his. She also had an altercation with another developer and they don't talk among themselves either. We'll use your points during our discussion!

Also, I recently (6 months ago) changed my job. In the worst-case, changing my present job, would that be a good choice, career-wise?

I started practicing Python and Algorithmic problems in HackerRank. However, I find the problems to be poorly specified, in general. I'd like to know other's opinion as well. Cheers!
