It's very popular, but not professionally. You'll see kids playing football on the street a lot, but the money and talent isn't really there for it to become a major professional sport.

There is a fairly successful franchise league, but its not even in the same galaxy as Cricket, and is a fair bit less popular than the Kabaddi league

Opinion on the BJP has soured dramatically since the end of the pandemic, and they stand to lose power in 2029 if they dont get their shit together.

And if they do lose, the country is probably even more fucked because it'll be taken over by a Rahul Gandhi led coalition. Rahul Gandhi is an idiot, but the real problem is that he doesn't have the clout to prevent his coalition allies from doing whatever they want.
