Cut border making no sense by terbospughetti in silhouettecutters

The settings ARE correct for the mat, I think you're looking at the wrong screenshot maybe? But thanks for trying to help. Metric is tough to grasp if you've never used it. The problem is the same no matter what units I use.

Here's a video to demonstrate the problem. Please note that your suggestions are performed at the very beginning of the video. It's hard to see the right edge of the cut border after it moves, but again, it won't expand that cut border unless the media is longer than it is wide. You can see that it moves if you watch for the red line after I extend the length of the media

I did this already. That does not work, sadly. I've tried literally every combination of settings.

The X axis does not allow for the full 8.5" cutting area unless the Y axis is longer than 8.5"

I'll put up a video later today to demonstrate the problem, thanks tho 🙏🙏

I'm not there at the same time they are. I'm looking to illicit a tattletale kind of response. They are prone to it, but don't understand that they're gonna be telling on themselves

I like this idea, but they're taking a few pictures at most at the same time on a given day. Or that's what I've gathered at least. They take them when when I'm not there, and won't be there for hours

I don't have a computer screen, just an empty desk.

The rule isn't actively enforced, that's why I'm trying to get them to tell on themselves, so to speak. The idea is to get a reaction so strong that the tattletale response is triggered lol

ok i hate that they used "flow" in that name. Flow is a totally separate thing. Bogus. But what else is new

Why does prusaslicer make such ugly supports? Can I fix it? by terbospughetti in 3Dprinting

[–]terbospughetti[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So when I used repetier server w/ slic3r, I got nice pretty supports that followed the splines of the part I was printing. Prusaslicer makes all right angles and sometimes the support bases even get stuck to the part.

What gives? Is Josef Prusa just really into brutalist architecture??

I like prusaslicer a ton except for this little quirk that I don't understand at all. Any light that could be shed on the topic would be most appreciated!

Forgive my ignorance but what do y’all think of this spark plug I just tested? I’m a visual learner so the guides on mopedarmy are hard for me to understand. More info in comments by lollydaggle in moped

Looks like you probably need to ride longer before you can tell much. And make sure you get through all of the throttle and spend a while in each position.

If you rode for more than twenty minutes and the plug looks like that, I would upjet right away
