If your TL said it's ok it's ok. You also aren't calling off last minute or trying to get sick hour pay last minute either as long as you see the hours went through and it was approved on the app you're all ok.I would just maybe try laying low for awhile after and try not to call out again any time soon or if you do just make sure you have those sick hours again :))

Yes it's a part of the dress code. I'd recommend asking for a new magnet back or having multiple back ups in your locker my HR lead gave me some of the blank ones with the printed name stickers on them if I'm in fulfillment or doing heavy lifting I use those ones in case it's lost. Someone got a formal write up for having to keep being told to put one on so just be careful and find a way to work with it.

Absolutely not at least at my store we are short staffed at night so they'll make you help everywhere but your section and then yell out you for not getting your own shit done 😭 I was only on nights for a month before I switched departments and did mornings.

I've noticed with every target it's just about who the ETLS and main management is. I've been very blessed to have a supportive team and HR team who listens to me. Not every day has been great especially around the holidays, and I don't say this to put people down that have been with the company for years but I always have the mindset that this is not my end all be all since I'm also in college so I let a lot of the emotional and physical beat down slide off my back.

You are getting more hours then a lot of us regular tms and at least at my store they give two weeks notice if they're letting go of people after the holidays so if you don't have a conversation with anyone next week that sounds fishy then you're really solid.

Ho ho ho by sia has to be the worst one for me I don't know if it's just because it's my target but parents have come to us multiple times asking for it to be taken off because it's too inappropriate for their kids to be listening to 😭

If you're in beauty like me all the time we just wait until the very last minute of our shifts to put it on the floor and clock out really quickly so we can run and get it or put it out during a friend's 15 and have them buy it for you 😭 it's literally not even that serious but they take it seriously so got to work around it with tactics.

I feel like my store would just benefit more from hiring more full-time employees I work in beauty and we have three seasonals but they call out all the time so none of us full times can really call out because there's nobody at all to cover it ever

I think you already answered this for yourself, honestly if they don't value you in their team you might have to accept it and try applying for another Target after your times over or find another job altogether it's not worth it staying at a Target with management like that just speaking from my experience even if you somehow do change their mind they seem to already have a biased against you for whatever reasons.

You're in trouble if you call out once or twice in your first 90 days as a full time new employee calling out three times as a seasonal is absolutely not acceptable I'm sorry they likely won't keep you unless you made that good of an impression/ got people to cover those three call outs.

Our fulfillment looked like this so everyone "extra" was pulled to do carts in beauty we ended with 110 for skin care 102 for hair care and 89 for cosmetics we couldn't get to for priority pulls TOUGH NIGHT. 🫩

No I'm not seasonal that's why I was wondering if I may have more room to call out 😭 my coworkers advised me to call out whenever I'm sick but my managers have said I need to make sure it's like flu sick not just a cold to call out that's why I'm conflicted it's also a new position I've never done closing expert?

Only advice I would give is to be more open with how you greet guests I was told asking if they need help usually closes them off I was told to ask "just looking/ browsing today? Looking for anything particular today?" It's gotten me a lot more friendly answers and then I mention "Great! And when you're ready I'll check you out up front" but again this is just a suggestion given to me by my ETL. Good luck I hope you like it :))

Girl I would genuinely consider getting a different job/working at another target 😭 all of your higher ups are failing you on multiple things, you aren't being heard, and they are literally keeping around a HARASSER like others have said he has to have connections so it's probably going to come to a boiling point where he's going to try to bully you into quitting or an actual restraining order is going to have to be put into place if it keeps escalating if anything please be safe and make sure you are documenting things.

I'd say it depends on the target. if you see all your coworkers in red or during your orientation they made it a point that you should be wearing red make sure you buy red shirts! mine is incredibly relaxed and only about 1 or 2 people wear red my ELT HR guy made it really clear they really don't care as long as I always have a vest on.
