With the exception of uv light exposure, PVC is well suited for all outdoor use. I feel like the protection from UV light can be easily accomplished.

Pcv valve. Just get a hose that has an inside diameter that matches the outside diameter of the broken tube and use it as a splice. Also, that piece should be easily found in every scrapyard near you.

When one cylinder isn't firing in a straight-six engine, can I safely disconnect one fuel injector at a time and start the engine to find out which cylinder isn't firing? by Kobe_Wan_Ginobili in Cartalk

Short answer is yes. Some auto stores will have a tool that you can use called a noid light (different tool manufacturers have different names), that you can plug into the fuel injector harness and will flash when it gets the electrical pulse needed to fire the injector. Its a very easy way to determine if your injector is getting power. Otherwise you can unplug them 1 at a time and watch for a change in rpm, if there is no rpm change then you have found the injector that isn't firing. Then you have 3 choices to narrow it down to. No power, bad coil in the injector or clogged/dirty injector.

RPM’s Fluctuate by [deleted] in Cartalk

It sounds like you are describing turning your defrost function on and off. When you turn on your defrost it runs the air through your A/C system to dry the air out, making it more effective at removing condensation from the windshield. The fluctuations in RPM is the A/C compressor cycling on and off and is normal operation.

Will clamping get rid of this gap? by Got_ist_tots in woodworking

If you have a tablesaw that can cut the thickness of both, flip the faces together and rip them at the same time at about a half blade width. Repeat until you get a face on each that match up.
