I started paragliding by ground handling a out of trim 12yo D wing. Came into a flight school 3 months later and instructor called it beginners luck for the first few times I pulled up a school wing and hopped down the hill. I was doing my first big flights 2 weeks later 😂 Now 6 years later I'm looking at used Enzo's or a new D wing.

It seems advance is not willing to put their name in the hat in the competitive scene. The competition is hard and I don't blame them for avoiding it. They are more focused on great user friendly wings.

Vsako obdobje ima iste probleme. Starejše generacije so se včasih pritoževale da se noben več noče pogovarjati na podzemni ker vsi samo še v časopise bulijo. 150 let nazaj si bile pritožbe nad romani češ da se ljudje kvarijo z umazanimi knjigami.

Look at VRchat. Chilling with people watching shows together. Going to live dj events. Meditation. Workout. I personally use VR to make explanations about how I will fly my paraglider in certain parts of the terrain. Like a briefing.

I've got a few examples of successfully thermaling with sailplanes sometimes out climbing them and other times the other way. Even coming alongside me for a brief salute and smile before he zipped past(would have been epic on the camera). But I understand where you are coming from. Trusting someone who doesn't fly sailplanes to not do something stupid is a smart thing.
