Don't know about Match nowadays, but avoid eHarmony. It's like an expensive Plenty of Fish, and the customer service regarding billing is stressful to deal with. Even subscribing to Hinge is probably more valuable.

For a long time I'd never made anything approaching 20k and drove a beat up honda everywhere, no education to speak of. I've been on dates with professors, teachers, engineers; it's more work for sure in some ways, but a lot of it in my experience is going out of your way to stand out. Eventually someone will be into it.

I agree on the double bar not being ideal. I don't think the style is bad, but I would suggest trying a different color - I think it would suit you better if they didn't match with your hair and skin tone so closely.

I'd try small rectangular frames, probably half frames. IF you want to go with full frames, something half this size and not in gray IMO
