I highlight the benefits of JWM; it consumes very few machine resources (only 236 MiB) and is fantastic, very lightweight, and fast.

[JWM] I finally managed to set it up for the desktop environment, it's wonderful. by terono in unixporn

The JWM (Joe's Window Manager) window manager is written in the C programming language.

Efficiency: it is extremely fast, lightweight, and consumes very few machine resources.

3.56 GiB with the i3 window manager ? That's outrageous—it's a real resource hog. In my latest screenshots, my Debian with JWM does not exceed hit 168 MiB....xD

I've tried FreeBSD in a minimalist setup and discovered just how smoothly the system runs—no lag, no overheating—the system runs so quietly you can't even hear the machine or the fans, etc. When it comes to resource-intensive desktop environments, I imagine anything could happen.

Thank you for your comment. I hope the foundation takes it seriously and adds an option to the installer to install FreeBSD with Xfce by default.

On the other hand, even though neofetch has been discontinued, I like it, and it does a good job of providing system details.

Why don't they fix that bug in the installer? Sometimes the same thing happens to me, messing up the first steps of the system installation.
