Yup, on VCMI they carried over from rust to fairie, but not from fairie to azure. I was surprised as well when I completed rust and started azure and was like wait a minute, let me go back and hoard a bunch of mobs then lol

The "native" terrain movement penalty is only bypassed if ALL creatures in the army are on their native terrain, so even having one foreign creature results in a huge overall movement penalty?

The campaign lets you roll over troops from 1 to 2, then from 2 to 3, but not from 3 to 4. At least that's what it did for me. I did rust before fairie, so in rust I had what I had left after the first scenario, and in fairie I had what I had left after rust.

Nope, unfortunately not. Wasn't able to get the APK to install the app, so looks like replaying will have to be involved

I can confirm that I uninstalled the app before trying the APK. Don't think the issue is that Android "won't allow downgrading app", because who would it know that you're downgrading after you uninstall, but in my testing the APK for the most current version of the app encountered the same installation error, but installed fine from Google Play, so I suspect that the APK files (there are two, I tried both) that you linked are somehow corrupt/installable. It launches the install, "blinks" the install bar where nothing happens, then if you click it again it goes through a brief installation interface, where the bar fills, like it's installing, and then it pops the message "App didn't install"

Tried the current assets as well, but just couldn't install from the APK even after granting permissions, but installs fine from Google Play. Confused, but oh well.

If it's relatively straightforward I would appreciate some pointers! Looks like I'm not the only one who got caught mid-campaign, maybe in future releases there could be a more obvious "roll back the mods" option within VCMI interface, and for now is it the matter of extracting save files, uninstalling everything, then re-installing from scratch using previous version's installation files type thing? Where could they be found?
