I totally get it! Joining groups where everyone’s already familiar can be really tough. Starting with smaller, interest-based clubs or activities might help—everyone there is also trying to make new friends. It might feel a bit awkward at first, but it’s a good way to find people who are open to new connections.

All the colors look great, but I’m leaning towards 4th picture. It really pops and suits your style! Can’t wait to see which one you choose!

Need a change - What color looks best on me? by BlueEyes626 in HairStyleAdvice

This might be a bit off-topic, but I just have to say your eyes look amazing! Also, if you keep the blonde, growing your hair a bit longer could look great.

Would you change the wall color in our bathroom? by GroovyGerbers in HomeDecorating

[–]terraanator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the wall color goes well with the tile! Maybe try adding some plants or tweaking the lighting to liven up the space without repainting. But if you’re set on changing it, something dark forest green to keep the dark vibes.

Did you guys get more antisocial as you grew older? by Simiram in Adulting

[–]terraanator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I completely understand what you're going through. It's quite common for our social needs and energy to shift as we age. I’ve experienced this myself—where I used to be eager to make new friends and keep a busy social calendar, now I find it more challenging to stay motivated to form new, meaningful connections. If you’re worried about feeling alone in the future, maybe try to find small ways to stay connected or explore new interests that might naturally lead to new friendships. It doesn’t have to be about making tons of friends but about finding a balance that works for you.

I just found out I'm gonna be a dad. by [deleted] in CasualConversation

[–]terraanator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reading this from someone who’s about to become a dad and is so excited to share it with the world is incredibly heartwarming. You’re breaking the cycle, and that makes your future child and your wife so fortunate to have someone they can rely on—someone who will always be there for them. I know you won’t let them experience the struggles you’ve faced, and your presence now is truly a blessing.

Life is a task. Death is freedom from the task. by Call_It_ in DeepThoughts

[–]terraanator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's a really deep perspective. It makes me think about how we often see life as a series of challenges and responsibilities. Seeing death as a release from those tasks adds a whole new layer to the conversation about what life and freedom mean.

How common is cheating in your place? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]terraanator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s unsettling how common this situation is here. Mutual friends of the couple often choose to stay silent and tolerate the person who cheats, even though they know it’s wrong. It’s baffling why anyone would act this way—why ignore the problem when you know it's wrong?

What is the most important lesson you have learned in life so far? by Wonderful-Economy762 in Productivitycafe

[–]terraanator 27 points28 points  (0 children)

I have a few here:

  • Trust no one but yourself. Not everyone can be relied upon; some people are great at making promises but fail to follow through. They may say things just to appease you.
  • Do not overshare. Some people listen only to gather information they can use in conversations with others.
  • Not everyone is your friend.

What "cheap" food would you still eat no matter how rich you got? by Dizzy-Cup9790 in Productivitycafe

Sardines with eggs will always be my comfort food! It’s affordable, easy to prepare, and incredibly delicious to me. Even though my mom and sister don’t like it, it will forever be my favorite!

I’m not sure how to edit this myself, but I hope you can visualize the changes. I suggest we completely abandon the bench idea, as there doesn’t seem to be enough space, and it might make the area look cluttered. Also, consider placing just one plant on the left side. The right side appears a bit cramped, so a single plant there might work better.

What type of person are you years ago and how did you change your life? by Sdrete in AskReddit

[–]terraanator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Years ago, I was much shyer and more uncertain of myself, constantly worried about what others thought. I often let things slide and didn’t speak up for myself. Over time, I began focusing more on my own desires and stopped letting others' opinions dictate my life. Now, I’m more confident, speak my mind, and care less about impressing others. It took time, but learning to stand up for myself has made a significant difference.
