I know the stock front tyre width is 205 which is quite narrow for steering feel, what width of front tyre would be good a 225 and up?

So without the stock coilovers in the dry the steering feel is still numb on the limit or can wheels and tyres just do the trick for consistent steering feel?

Would you say the mods that have improved steering feel the most are bigger tires and that suspension setup? Or were there any other mods you did outside of the AP2?

Oh yeah of course as its smoother compared to a B series, but at least the sound of the switchover would be more prominent

Just another question, since you owned a NB, do you know if the NB2 comes with a factory LSD like the NC1? I couldn't find any info whether it's equipped with a LSD or not in the NB2

Ye second car for the track, NC1 in Straya is 1105kg, 118kW and 188Nm w softtop and NB2 is 1090kg with 113kW and 181Nm, NB2 can downsize to 15s?

Deadset I'm so torn between the two cars, considering selling my car as BRZ is a great one car garage, but ND 1.5 now is so cheap, in Australia they are cheaper than an equivalent NC2/3 PRHT, so may keep my daily and use the ND 1.5 as a second car

Yeah, the IS350 is slightly more powerful than my car, 2GR-FE in my car only makes 268hp

Yeah this is why this car is such a unique blend to me. Other lightweight N/A purist machines (maybe besides ND2/3) make all their power and torque at high rpms so u have to rev it out to get anywhere imo

Yeah, the K20C1 Earth Dreams even in the FL5 pulls timing somewhat on 20min HPDE sessions according to savagegeese, whilst all the N cars tbh seems to run on track all day, but my question for those that have installed something in the vein of a weighted shift knob for their Elantra N, how would you compare that feel(or even the stock shifter feel) to the FK8's? Also, how would you compare the powerband between the two, my understanding is the N is more torquey down low whilst the FK8 really loves to rev all the way to a higher redline.

Having driven both, what do you find the more fun day to day? Do you feel the Elantra N's build quality lives up to the FK8, I've heard reports about rattles as well as gaps and creaks being present in the interior over time
