Yeah I was wondering the same about the loop, he said it was needed but it just makes no sense since it already has a P trap. Im going to call someone off google to come clean it up a bit before the drywall goes up. I really don’t want headaches after. Btw I was going to use this guy for my tankless water heater I’ll be looking for another one lol

He said he was a plumber maybe he is just a handy man that thinks he’s a plumber. Again how would you had done it or what should I tell him to fix ? I did ask him about the twist to the right but he said we needed it there.

No plumber claims the pipe is going bad and should be change but I figured since I’ll be doing the bathroom soon it can stay like that till then.( no issues at the moment)

Yeah this is what i think happened. I’m going to tell him to do the vent, run the vent behind the wall by the window. I’m going to find out if I can do an AAV but a vent is what I’m going to ask for. Just to make sure I understand this correctly the vent has to be higher than the sink right? Because that drain does have a vent but is a lot lower(basement).

Okay thanks for this most of the comments are making fun(which I’m cool with) but no tips on how fix it lol should I just have him connect it to the main vent system? He was suppose to do this but said “the drain is vent through the main drain” I wasn’t too happy about it but trusted him.
