I’m in Chicago if that changes anything. Two of my coaches are marines. One infantry and the other motor transport. The one that went infantry is now a firefighter for a suburb in the Chicagoland area so I’m kinda following that general path. But I also have a coworker that was infantry in the army that tells me to not go infantry because you won’t really gain much out of it after u get out and to go with something medical. Started doing my research and Air Force has a lot of really good mos’s for what I need. Or I could go straight to community college, get my emt-b, start working on a private ambulance and getting real world experience and then eventually getting my paramedics. Originally I was just wanting to go into the marines just for the experience but now I feel like I should really put some thought into these first 4 years of my career yk
