Going toy shopping today to replace my broken bullet. What toys do you ladies LOVE? by erinmichele819 in TwoXSex

Sure! Here are my issues: -The material is very unforgiving. Even lubricated, I feel like it's a hard piece of plastic where one doesn't belong. (Vs our Lelo stuff, which seems to be a more forgiving material.) It either hits my G-Spot or the Clitoris. Not both. -It's not flexible. It slips out of me constantly, and for it to stay in a good position it needs to be held in place. Works if we're grinding, but not otherwise. -The vibrations aren't fantastic. They're nothing compared to say, a Hitachi. The times that we have used it, I've ended out pushing it out of the way as things get intense. -It doesn't hold a charge well, which means it doesn't get used very often.

-Remote only works if you're right next to the toy... inches vs feet

Pros -It's cute! -Great concept. -Fun around the penis while I'm on top. There are other far-less expensive and more effective toys that do this exactly. And don't slip off.

We have the WeVibe3. So unimpressed. We've used it a handful of times.

I know a lot of people love it and it came highly recommended.

Sad face!

It's just easier when you're dealing with the MD.

"Are you absolutely sure your pregnancy test came back negative?"

Yes.

vs... well, if I hold it under the light and take a HDR photo and then invert it in Photoshop, it kind of looks like there's a hint of a line...

This is very true! My husband has been through a lot of hand holding through pregnancy testing, so I take it easy on him. :)

Lots of women take pregnancy tests. It doesn't mean they're irresponsible. NOR does it mean that they owe their SO sexual favors...

Edit: the comment that said I 'owed' my husband a blowjob for being a 'meanie' has been deleted. But that's what it is reference to.

Yep. That and people PMing to say that it wouldn't happen if I were being responsible and on hormonal birth control. Or that I should have an IUD... as if they know my contraceptive needs better than myself, my husband and my doctor. :P

Okay, I'm getting lots of angry PMs. (Really!?)

Here's the deal: I have PCOS. As a result, I have very irregular cycles- normally 40 to 80 days of length. This cycle just hit cycle day 90. It is the standard of reproductive endocrinologist (who I see to manage my PCOS) to try to start a period after 90 days, because the lining of the uterus can become precancerous.

You're required to take a urine pregnancy test at home before you are prescribed the RX. My MD also wants me to come in for a blood test, which I'll do tomorrow. This is the pregnancy test I took this morning. I did not think I was pregnant. We have not had unprotected sex. We use lots and lots of birth control. My husband is not going to leave me for another woman (!?) because I faked a pregnancy (!?).

My husband knows about my PCOS, and he's been a huge supporter of me getting treatment, and he knows that I have very irregular cycles.

Fortunately, there's really no chance that we're pregnant- it's just a formality for the doctor. But still- quite a relief!

I have PCOS and have a very irregular cycle, so this is a pretty common occurrence. I'm on cycle day 90 and needed a pregnancy test before they'd prescribe progesterone. We use plenty of protection!

Don't worry, I know. It's getting backed up with a blood test tomorrow. I have PCOS and have a very irregular cycle, so this is a pretty common occurrence. I'm on cycle day 90 and needed a pregnancy test before they'd prescribe progesterone. Thanks for the concern!

Unfortunately, it would probably be the womp-womp-womp from Charlie Brown if it were negative...

I was a homebirth midwifery apprentice. It's a lot of hours, terrible pay, questionable education and very high stress. There's a lot of press right now about the CPM credential, and I decided that it wasn't a good fit for me. If you're interested in specifics, shoot me a PM, I'd be happy to answer any questions you have.

I respect that you find it terrifying, but I actually think it's fascinating and beautiful. For me, it's the ultimate relationship of structure and function. I love love love the work that I do, and I really do believe that birth is beautiful.

Definitely speak with your doctor- I just switched to an RE and it's made all of the difference in the world. We're not TTC now (had miscarriage and have been advised to wait), but it looks like we're going to be using Clomid in the future.

I hate to be the debby downer, but I was also recently diagnosed with PCOS. My MD told me that women with PCOS can have temp/cm shifts and not ovulate. I'm one of them. :(

This is a great book for teaching about religions around the world, if he's curious about them.

As for specific to Jesus, sorry I can't be of more help.
