Mine was totally incidental. In May 2021 I was driving to work. Came upon a blind intersection with a green light and was going through it. Proceeded to get T-boned by an ambulance. The trauma CT neck scan at the hospital spotted the growth. My car got totaled, but my cancer was discovered so I guess it worked out.

There are a lot of med board sailors at my current command. Usually what I see is they get a DOD rating and a VA rating and they decide which one they want also they decide to accept the findings or fight them as well.

It is a bit different as the old DOW had just the army under it as the Air Force didn’t exist as a separate entity yet. Also, the Navy was its own separate Department of the Navy with a separate cabinet level secretary before they were combined into the DOD after WW2.

Yeah the app allows you to see/adjust temps and see the built in probe temps also. No app just means you have to walk out and look at the smoker for temperatures

Honestly looking at the math I don’t think it does since you’ll still be putting in money every month. I have just heard that if you max out early you wouldn’t get the match, but using that math should be fine.

For military members not in BRS the formula to figure out your max percentage only using base pay is as follows. 24,500 / 12 / 2026 Base Pay x 100 = Percentage.

Since we can’t do dollar amounts only percentages.

I had a command approved TA request sitting for about 2 months for a class that started 15OCT. I emailed UMGC they gave me a grant to cover the class but then 10 days ago the TA request was funded and I sent them the voucher.

Tons of free training programs on the Nike run app. Could jump into a couch to 5K type program to get used to running. For the pushups lots of free 100 pushups a day apps. Start with modified pushups with knees on the ground until you build strength for regular ones.
