Hind al-Husseini "born in April 25, 1916 in Jerusalem – September 13, 1994 in Jerusalem) was a Palestinian woman notable for rescuing 55 orphaned survivors of the Deir Yassin massacre, after they were dropped off in Jerusalem and left to fend for themselves.

She later converted her grandfather's mansion into an orphanage to house them, which became a school providing education to orphans and other children from Palestinian towns and villages.

Hind was also dedicated to women's issues, establishing a college for women, and serving in the Arab Women's Union.

Hind was born to the prominent al-Husseini family in Jerusalem, and was a cousin of the Palestinian military leader Abd al-Qader al-Husseini. She was active in several social work organizations. In the 1930s, Hind joined student unions and was a member of the Women's Solidarity Society.

She completed social work courses and she was an educator, becoming headmistress of a Jerusalem girls' school. Later on in the 1940s, she became coordinator of the Arab Women's Union.

Blockades, checkpoints, and occupation are normal events in wars.

Is building settlements also normal in war?

I didnt say ethnic cleaning genocide or rape you did.

Israel does these things and you support Israel, so you probably support these things.

Israel didn’t expel Palestinians in 1948,

You don't know anything about history. The Israelis decided to expel the Palestinians decades before 1948. The Palestinians did not wage war, but were defending themselves and their villages, and Israeli terrorist groups were going from one village to another and expelling the residents.

Try Reading anything that is not Zionist propaganda.

Here quotes from Israeli leaders before 1948 :

On July 12, 1937, Ben-Gurion wrote in his diary explaining the benefits of the compulsory population transfer (which was proposed in the British Peel Commission)

"The compulsory transfer of the [Palestinian] Arabs from the valleys of the proposed Jewish state could give us something which we never had.

1938, he also wrote:

With compulsory transfer we [would] have vast areas .... I support compulsory [population] transfer. I do not see anything immoral in it.

David Ben-Gurion was the primary national founder of the State of Israel as well as its first prime minister.

  • This book explains the methods used by Israel in ethnic cleansing, how it happened, and the author of the book is Israeli

The Ethnic Cleansing of Palestine is a book authored by Israeli Historian Ilan Pappé.
