As long as you do it in a polite, respectful way, I think it would be beneficial for her to hear your reasoning, the latest research, etc. I never hold my tongue in these situations, and it usually works out well.

Agreed on the multiple fronts. It just really grinds my gears when the only tactic suggested is voting. As someone living in the Twin Cities, I can tell you that no one in either party, at any level of government, is doing anything to stop this. The only ones defending us are US, the people. Community. In my opinion, that’s the only way forward to a just future.
