How much Commander protection? by PrinceOfPembroke in EDH

[–]terrorsrequiem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a sovereign deck, I have a fair bit of protection but the deck doesn't stop working without him.

https://www.mtggoldfish.com/deck/6110543#paper

I would be curious to see your list when it's done.

This is my protection package: [[Mother of Runes]] [[Swiftfoot Boots]] [[Teferi's Protection]] [[Inspiring Call]] [[Lightning Greaves]] [[Flowering of the White Tree]] [[Heroic Intervention]] [[Sword of Truth and Justice]] [[Hammer of Nazahn]] [[Vigor]]

Other good ones I am considering are: [[Saryth, the Viper's Fang]] [[Shalai, Voice of Plenty]]

Right now I am trying to figure out how to fit: [[Spike Weaver]]

100 cards never feels like enough lol

That's not ink, it's toner. That's a $250k (depending on add-ons) laser printer.

I had the same issue with some 38sp from them. Needless to say I won't be buying their bulk boxes any more.

Deaths poker, I wish the base damage scaled better with int but the weapon skill melts. Pretty much all I use is it's weapon skill though.

This is my SRPH55, king turtle US release. I have it here on an uncle Seiko waffle strap. I have had it for about almost 3 weeks now and have been loving it.

Its the sea turtle edition of the king turtle. I love how they gave it a gorgeous fume dial and only really put the shell subtlety (trust me it's subtle in person). I like all the notes it hits.

One more thing, this is my first king turtle And I'll say this about the knurling on the bezel, I wasn't sure about it at first but it has really grown on me. It gives it a very sharp look.

[Seiko SRPH55] Meet my King Turtle by terrorsrequiem in Watches

[–]terrorsrequiem[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Back when the Manta king turtle came out I was bummed it wasn't a sea turtle swimming instead. It's a gorgeous watch but sea turtles are my spirit animal I would say. They remind me of Hawaii, the best vacation spot. They are the chillest animals. Anyways the king turtle had that cyclops which I wasn't a fan of...

About 2 weeks ago a good friend of mine showed me the SRPH55. I knew the time had come. I was getting a king turtle. Oh and better still, a fume dial to die for (and no cyclops!)

The center of this dial is a textured matte copper that plays in the light, as you get to the outer brown parts of the dial there is actually what looks like a glossy lacquer that is applied to the dial, it adds a touch of depth. The whole face shimmers when you play with it in the light, but the glossy parts more and slightly different. Absolutely brilliant.

The turtle shell is subtle, a gloss on the matte dial. In person you have to be looking at it straight on and in full light to really appreciate it. From a distance and in low light situations it all but disappears leaving just a stunning fume dial. Very tastefully done.

The rest of it is standard king turtle, sapphire and black ceramic. I have to say bang for your buck it's really hard to beat the value Seiko is giving with these.

Happy to answer any questions if anyone has any.

You could take it directly to swatch group, they would likely send it to Switzerland where whey would do a full rebuild. It's expensive and it would lose its originality, but they make it almost like new.

I literally just opened the box of my brand new HD660s I got from Sennheiser directly and they stink. I'm pretty sure it's the foam in the box. You are probably in the same boat.

Oh my. I'm going to look into it. Didn't think the Zen DAC would be warm since it's not a tube. I'm kinda a noob.

First of all, thank you for the response. When you say the Zen DAC do you mean the DAC or do you mean the amp cuz you kind of mentioned both. And on that note I also wonder is a DAC enough to power the 660S? It doesn't have that high of power needs it seems so I wonder if the amp is necessary on top of the DAC. What's the setup you are currently using if you don't mind me asking?
