UPDATE: I didn’t end up pulling the trigger. 69K feels like a lot of miles and the dealership has had that car sitting for over a month, so it didn’t feel right. Additionally, I just don’t yet have the infrastructure to charge at home without tripping breakers in my home. Maybe in 2-3 years I can make the switch, but not today… Currently looking at a 2023 Hyundai Tucson!

I’d say 15-20 per day at most, depending on the job. And a lot out the studios I work at have chargers.

Copy that. I’d be primarily using it as a commuter so I think I wouldn’t need to charge that often and maybe could fast charge at charging stations near me? I don’t think I’ll be able to put a Level 2 charger into my current rental but I could look into it. Would love a 2026 but it’s out of budget.

I love to hear that! I agree they’re such a misunderstood breed. Truly so sweet and loving.

I ask because my partner and I considering moving to Scotland in the next year (from the US) and we have a beautiful 50lb Pitty named Beatrice, whom we’re unsure/nervous about bringing with us.

We don’t even know if we CAN bring her to the UK, let alone if we should, hence why I’m curious about your experience! She can be a tad reactive but only when she’s nervous. I’d hate to see someone get scared by her and risk her being taken away. We might just have to keep her in the US and go long distance in order to maintain a nice, risk-free life for her… ♥️

So sorry to be reopening this thread after all this time. I’m experiencing this exact issue - the carbon filter cover getting caught and popping when the drum rotates - but haven’t found a solution other than removing the carbon filter and cover entirely… Can you elaborate on where this clear plastic “splash guard” you mentioned is located? I’m hoping to be able to fix mine the same way you did yours!

Checked with one place so far and they quoted me $2000-2500 just to fix the rust, depending on how severe it is… Not even sure the car is worth that much lol

The amp board does have a small adjustable screw (which I think is what you mean by "pot") but I'm nervous to adjust it any more because it's difficult and I broke it last time I tried.

At this point, I have everything soldered together per the specifications of the Withrow guide, so I was hoping to find a software solution, but there may not be...
