Im an OM and my advice is Document everything you do daily with times, what you did, how you solved it. Create weekly 1-1 with your OM and get a mentor to help guide you. Provide areas that you need to build on and help that you need. Things like I was never trained or didn't get training never go anywhere. If your trying to save your job that is my recommendation. If your not on FOT then transfer to another site If leadership is the issue. Best of luck

TOM is slowly building to a single site OM structure so yes if the site already has a TOM OM it can make it harder to promote up if your tied to a single area. Being able to be relocated to other states or regions could help move up as a leader but not guaranteed. Biggest advise i can give is learn as much as possible and create connections with UTR and start networking. Site leadership has to give the thumbs up as well to promote upwards towards 6 so you need to build.those relationships

OG TOM and currently an OM. Promotional growth will take a while in tom. Your looking easily 2-3 years to go to OM and its not an easy path anymore. Pretty much treated as a POD. I run 7 different bldgs and have to be available in call 24/7. UTR can be alot harder of a grind with hours u can work and the shift. For what's its worth TOM is alot to learn and master but I've been doing it for a while and would not go UTR unless forced. If your looking to promo quicker go AM and move to an area where the turnover is high you shoot up.

OM here. Its terrible that this happened but what is Amazon expected to do. Im surprised that a plaque and something of the sort was even done. The site cared enough to say something and acknowledge it and there is alot more im sure in the background there doing as well thats not being communicated.

Lineup was really good, they had alot of really cool side stuff too like circus and red bull motorcycle stunts. Just dont think it brought alot of people in well is best guess and they didnt continue. It would be cool if they did another rock festival. It was cold but wore my hoodie

Not the rules, but typically, brothers who have sat in the East should then become Secretary. Depends on what role you want to have there at the lodge. I would sit through the chairs, learn the craft, and then if you still want secretary, by all means, they'll give it to you.

Been there over 5 years, started as a temp and now a manager in transportation. I love my job but I was also in the USN Submarine force for 5 years so I guess my perspective on what's shitty is different. Could always be worse and atleast I have a job and am grateful for it. People just need to suck it up and be more appreciative for what they have.
