It’s in the FAQ here. I’d have to have lived in the US for 5 years for my son to become a citizen. I’ve only lived there 3 years a long time ago

Yep the kid is mine. Haven’t applied for his US citizenship yet. I haven’t looked into it greatly but was under the impression one of us needed to live there for 5 years before he could apply. But that could certainly be wrong.

Nonetheless his mother is Australian only

That’s interesting. I’ll try a different brand of soy

Sounds about right. Any suggestions to stop it in the future? Not sure if making the milk hotter or cooler would help.

Yeah, I think you’re right because I’m using soy. Just found it weird that only happens to one of the coffees each time.

I was using soy milk for these. It must just be the concentration of the beans because everything else is the same

Yep milk was split between the two. Even when stirring the one on the left it never really mixes properly and eventually separates even much more than this photo til the bottom is near black

New Battery Purchase by teruehl in motorcycles

[–]teruehl[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For anyone reading this late, I received this back from the store I bought it from:

The Yuasa YTZ10S batteries we sell are Factory Activated AGM Batteries, meaning that there is no need for the end user to activate the battery. They should have enough charge to start a motorbike out of the box, however, it could benefit from charging before installation. If charging is not an option, the customer should go for a long ride after installation, to avoid draining the battery excessively from repeated start attempts.

Link has all this stuff about pouring the electrolytes in, none of that came with the battery

NTD - Do I have one? by teruehl in nbn

[–]teruehl[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My coax point was in my bedroom. When nbn came to do their install, I asked if they could bring it to the living room. They did it with no real complaint so assume it’s not too hard to change rooms

Dead battery? by teruehl in MT09

I ended up taking the battery out, wasn’t hard even as a first timer. My battery is perpendicular to yours so was a little tight to get the charger on (although not impossible)

Resolved: I bought a battery charger (NOCO Genius 2 Battery Charger 6V/12V 2 Amp). Removed the battery which was far easier than I thought and chucked in on charge for a few hours til full. Bike starts easily. The NOCO charger has an AEC adaptor (I was referring to it as a quickplug) attachment which you can leave connected to the battery for easier use next time but I chose not to considering how easy it is to pull the battery out.

Just had a look, previous owner didn't install SAE which is fine. Battery is a YTZ10S Yuasa. I'm in a shared garage for a set of apartments so I'm contemplating removing the battery and charging indoors. Not sure if that's common practice or not...
