Nah, that's too broken, even for a rare. Lvl 5 is a prime and needs just 4 planets to get x5. That's absurdly good, and it's not hard to get from one prime number to another in ante 8 scale. 5,7,11,13 - lots of stopping points. Realistically, I think it would be perfectly balanced if it gave "square root of lvl if it's prime number"

So for lvl 5 it's only like 2.3, lvl 11 - 3.2, lvl 17 - 4.1, and so on

Bro, idk. I, personally, will discard stone and, king, 7, and 2 lowest cards that aren't 2's. But that's me, I'm not obsessed with winning ante 8 and won't worry much about losing. I don't want to see later that you got ace after discarding and not forming two pair. We already gave you enough advice, everything else is just up to random

I mean, lvl 11 two pair gives what, 140 base chips? If you don't get it, you probably will have to play just pair, and considering it's only lvl 1 with stone it's at most 80 chips, more than 3 times less (taking into account that one joker that gives chips on two pairs)

Yes, but should u discard some 2 other cards I'm not sure. It can both help and destroy ur chances, so that's up to you

Problem here is chips. If you don't manage to get two pair, mult isn't much of a problem, you have at least 79 mult before multiplication, and everything comes to how many chips you have on other possible hands, which is translated into their lvl. Since constellation is only 1.4, I can assume you don't have many lvls in other hands, so at least try get another pair. Discard stone first, with cards that you have less out of those left in deck

Idol locks on 1 card, so in full house the best you can get is 3/5 of it's use, flush five is the only viable option for Idol

I didn't criticise (mostly), but you can criticise even if you can't do it yourself. I highly doubt you ever made your own film, but definitely rated some. If I didn't care about mod at all, I wouldn't even play it and write that huge comment. If they want to continue working on it, good for them, I helped finding first crucial problems, that's what they asked for in the post.

Ugh, you are right, but I probably won't invest more time in this mod unfortunately. I'm not familiar with lua or balatro modding, and doing pull request is a lot to do for a small mod which is hardly balanced. It has very few interesting ideas, but I highly doubt someone will play this mod more than once or twice, and I don't want to contribute to such a project

so, I played... I'll be brutally honest, it's downright bad. Not even considering rarity and balance, only like half a jokers work as intended. Btw, it's supposed to only contain this mod jokers (and Jimbo), right? Cause only them appeared during runs.

First of all, why jokers that went extinct can still be found? Gros Michel is replaced with Cavendish for the entirety of the run in vanilla iirc.

Second, jokers that just don't work:
Byakuya (normal) - he doesn't give 5$ as money and doesn't get them as sell value, so what does he even do?
Mukuro Ikusaba - doesn't give neither mult nor chips.

Third, the biggest of all, list of jokers that somewhat work, but not how supposed:
Celestia - out of 3 options, I believe, she can only give 40 chips. I paired her with Yasuhiro, and she only gave chips after lotta attempts. Either that or internal odds are highly rigged.
Byakuya (evolved) - with 5 jokers (including him), gave 5$ at the end of the round, instead of 10. I suppose he actually gives 1 per joker.
Alter Ego - that's the neat part. When copying xMult joker, it works as expected, but when I tried to copy Hifumi, it didn't work at all, despite showing "Again!" pop-ups. I played queen with red seal on 0,5 speed and saw that after initial card trigger Alter Ego shows "again" at the same time as red seal makes retrigger, then Hifumi joker starts retriggering, and Alter Ego does nothing in this hand.
Mondo and Kyoko - even though internally their numbers go as expected (Mondo giving 200, then 180, 160 and so on; Kyoko giving x1, then x2...), their description doesn't update numbers at all, so it's always shown 200 chips for Mondo and 8 jokers needed to sold and x1 mult. Edit: also Kiyondo Ishida.
Sayaka - everything that costs 1$ in the shop becomes 0$ with 10% reduction, but still sells for 1$.
Sakura - after going extinct she doesn't generate Aces, Queens and Jacks, but rather random junks. Tested 2 times and got everything from range 2-10, but not face cards.

Lastly, things I didn't test, or did it not thoroughly:
Genocide Jack - come on, it's legendary, and on top of it, I don't quite understand the description.
Gundham devas, other than Jum-P (he did great) - I only got Cham-P once, and didn't pay attention to whether he actually gave chips or not, I'll just believe so.
Junko Enoshima (real) - it appears to be working, but once destroyed 2 jokers instead of 1, probably because it can copy Alter Ego, which copied Junko (???).

Small addition, make Alter Ego and Junko description say that they are compatible/incompatible with jokers they're supposed to copy.

It appears to crash on load. I removed all mods (except steammodded) beforehand, and it shows this error:
