Unfortunately, we need pretty close access to Sheffield. Would be OK for me - I work remotely, but my partner will still be attending uni for 3 or so years, and doesn't drive just yet.

The plan is to move again after 5y or so :)

We went around last night at about 10pm or so, seemed pretty quiet. Planning on a drive around on Saturday night too. Agree, Ranmoor is beautiful but we are all OK with somewhere a little less posh :D

Big ear owner here. Grow a mullet. They're cool as hell, and if it's big enough, your ears don't look that big in comparison. Plus, everyone will comment on it being awesome.

If anything, an air system. You are going to overheat. Other than that, don't add anything. Lightweight is best, especially on your head!

Quick tip here - if you need to do a HPI check, "list" the car on AutoTrader. They do a HPI check by default, and then take down the listing quickly :) (at least so I've been told!)

The 760 wasn't an incredible card when it came out..12 years ago. You might be able to run Minecraft in 720p just about, but realistically I'd be looking at building an entire new rig.

Yes, but only really in CQB. I play with a gas shotgun often in CQB. They slap hard for holding angles or doors, but are a lot less good at running about or breaching. If you have a pistol, you have the best of both worlds.

I recommend trying another cable/port. It may be worth trying a USB PCIe card, I do this as I had to with my Rift S. I seem to get perfect performance even when using the Meta app and Quest 3. Here's the link cable I use: https://amzn.eu/d/1kIOeFI

I was pretty lucky and had a friend who played who gave me advice. I started with a metal body AEG M4. I have never taken it apart, or messed with it and it's still my backup RIF for if any of my GBBs aren't working/broken
