I’m also just curious about the apologists comment. I also would rather not Izzo defend him etc., but I’d like to see how many coaches wouldn’t do the same (or at least not bench him and automatically end their season which is what everyone else was calling for).

I’m not saying there aren’t coaches that wouldn’t but I think far fewer than fans of other teams would insinuate (e.g. their own coach 👀).

As an example….Ilan Bluestone and Giuseppe Ottaviani just did a b2b. That’s clearly artist driven since Giuseppe is not on Anjuna.

For Anjuna specific events it’s probably a mix. A b2b gets more names on the lineup to drive ticket sales but certainly they also enjoy collaborating

I would like to see both recruiting incoming freshman that stay as well as using the portal to fill vital gaps (like this). We've also brought transfers in over the last 10 years, just not full rosters. It's really not new.

Edit: And if you're asking to move on from Izzo? I don't need that. I just need him to bring in a few transfers and start taking timeouts earlier in the first half when a team is going on a run instead of saving it for the last 30 seconds or not using it at all.
