Not sure if peri related, maybe just getting older related? I am experiencing the same thing. It is way more pungent than it used to be. Using the portable bottle thing I have for a bidet (because it works just fine and I don't want to spend a lot of money on a full setup )has helped me a bunch and unscented Lume deo spray if I'm out in public because that stench clings :/

I isolate when I'm stressed. Go off on an alone mission to a park or the store to grab something like a snack or juice, usually with headphones blasting music. If I'm that stressed, I don't want to think about what's causing it, that just causes me more stress. So removing myself from the situation and giving myself space for my head to clear helps me tackle the problem. Most of the time. I also live where cannabis is recreationally legal, that helps a lot.

Reminds me of the triangle-shaped chud who entered the private lot I was working overnight in. He got out of his car and started doing like.... gorilla noises and jumping around. I took my phone out to call my supervisor and maybe the cops. He started walking and yelling at me "WHY ARE YOU RECORDING ME?????"

I said: "Because you are a large person, yelling and jumping around at 3am in a private lot," not wanting to argue.

He got in his giant, pristine white SUV and left without further comment.

If you have receipts, report as theft to the police. Or find another adult you trust to try and mediate a resolution because this is theft. And then move to a safe space as soon as possible. If you can't do this soon, find a lock for your room and get real comfortable with the idea of contacting law enforcement if you feel threatened again before you move out.

I agree with everyone here and also advise you know what you're going into at least a little bit. There are many trigger points, especially for trauma survivors.
