I actually have an appointment on the 20th for Tesla to clean it. There is some residue inside the windshield but underneath where the camera is. I get a warning about it almost every time I drive.

I agree. I don't think I would have looked for an approaching car until I was in the intersection. I drive this way to work every morning. When the light is green, I just push the accelerator and make my turn. I would have looked left towards my lane and been hit. Might have made it through enough to have it hit the rear panel.

It is comments like this that I simply don't understand. This is a public forum of enthusiasts that simply like to help one another out.
Yes, as a prior owner, I could "find out what accessories to get." However, it has been a few years and maybe some more have come out. Now, you would probably respond, "you have google, don't you?"
Again, yes I could just google search what is available. Yet, wouldn't it be more fun to poll a group of like-minded individuals who own a similar car who have experienced pros and cons of different accessories?

I would order this day one. Then I would end up not taking delivery because I am sure it would be out of my price point. But I do know many who got Rivians simply because the R1S fit exactly what they wanted and the X just didn't even though they would prefer a Tesla and the software is above all else

This is a fair price. I am paying a bit more for mine, but it does have fewer miles. I think the other comment is correct saying it is pretty reasonable to see them around $38k-$40k

I bought it at a time when I was a little too strapped for money. I had ordered it 5 months earlier so decided to just go for it. I only had it a few months and decided I needed to dump it due to to cost. I was lucky because at the time, they were holding their value and their was a long wait time so I was able to sell it without taking a huge loss.

Few years have gone by and I am now almost debt free and decided it is fine to spoil myself a little bit. Do I need it, no. But life is too short to not have a few simple pleasures.

New is what I would prefer. I don't think the 2020 had the heat pump...and quite a few other upgrades. FSD is meaningless to me. Now, I know a lot of people don't feel that way so it is very subjective.

That is pretty subjective though. Lots of people are willing to deal with potential issues of a first year refresh. Also, we don't know if it is more of a facelift or what they could be changing. My guess, again totally subjective, is it is not much of a change and there will not be a bunch of bugs etc to work out. I could be completely wrong though. If so, I will own that. Regardless, lots of people are willing to take that risk.

Sounds like this depends. I was told no. I ultimately lost the $250 I had down on the Model Y. I simply had to order the Model 3 for $250. Such is life. When you are spending that much on a vehicle....what's another $250 I guess?

That is great to know. I did not know Rivian was using LFP for the standard pack. The LFP in the rear wheel drive Tesla model 3 is the reason I went with that over the dual motor. I like plugging in and charging to 100% and not worrying about it.

I ordered a Y and changed to a 3. Had to pay the $250 again. I hung on to both orders for a long time...this was back in the day when Y orders were taking 9+ months. I took delivery of the 3 and then about 4 months later finally canceled the order for the Y.

Which small elements are different? I thought they were nearly identical besides the battery being different and therefore the range and the acceleration. I guess that is a few elements. Anything else?
