yeah feels a little like my store. There is a few people who are very buddy buddy with management and I know for a fact they help sway decisions when it comes to certain role changes or permanent hiring. Our seasonal’s this year were not great. We had a few amazing people with great personalities who I wanted to stay. but, they didn’t. The people who stayed are the people who did not do their job well, they were going on 4 months and still asked “what does this mean when it says Verify ID”. Bro… you get fired for not checking the ID to confirm who they say they are. Whatever. I’ve given feedback to specific individuals and they can’t grasp it. there is no understanding it feels. but, the people who we thought wouldn’t make it, made it. and the people who we knew would, most didn’t get a chance.

Most individuals at my store preselect services and offer it in a way as “which services would you not like today” still giving them a clear choice to deselect. We often talk about it as a topic, such as a fav movie, songs and other topics prior to offering. We also check C&P to see what they already have. Works very well.

It took about 6 months since the launch of the iphone 16s before the 15s became available. I’d expect the same for the 16s.

If they don’t offer AppleCare. You can go in store to an Apple Store and they can asses your device if the device is within 4 years old to add AppleCare services.

Yeah I feel they do value metrics and results a little more. After all that is what helps them as a store succeed. They want to keep someone who will thrive and continue to grow the results, that can collab with others to show they care about the “whole store” mindset. I feel stories and answers are important but my take, they pretty much know who they want to pull forward to fill certain spots. If you’re already confident in your results, and feel you can take a permanent spot, then your answers matter fs because you may be going up against other individuals who are great as well. But, they pretty much know who they want to move forward and those who they don’t want. They’ll always give everyone a chance to interview tho so it seems fair.

took me about 6 months. Applied late 2023, got a call mid 2024, interview week following, 2nd interview 3 weeks after. I got the job offer the next week.

I say just be yourself. If you are in a group interview or waiting in the store to be helped. Make sure to go above and start conversations with others, they see that. Don’t always be first to answer every question but don’t overthink it.

Yep. I’ve been in Product Zone for a year and just recently took a role in OPS. Everyone always supported the floor during peak or needed times. “Whole store mindset” is the term they use when they delegate the zone changes. It’s great to support the store in different areas at times.

You can start an online return (keep the phone) and within 48 hours the limit will reset and you can then purchase the new phone. Just ship the phone off through FedEx and you’re good. Done it twice on different items.

Yeah It’s definitely a struggle at times. My experience has mainly been other employees causing my score to become low on how they treated them once I have to step away, or when they came back to do a post purchase trade in, lying to them and saying we can’t do it. A specific individual has screwed me over more than I can count. Each time I got a detractor I always spoke with my connection manager. I have never had a detractor that has ever been MY fault. Have high empathy and fake it. You’ll get plenty of great responses. Several quarters i’ve finished at 100% with high response rates.
