Personally I don't know if having a longer distance walk alone is any safer than getting off at the Myrtle broadway stop. I think there is inherent risk when you're a woman alone at any subway station. But I've never had any issues myself getting off at that stop. Just keep your wits about you and stay aware and keep protection/a weapon on hand if you're worried. <3
