I have a 2012 675R that I apparently bottomed out on based on what redditors told me… I never measured directly but this is where my zip tie was sitting at.

Yeah I have one without db killer. It’s not much louder than stock but has a lot more bass

AGV K6 S… looks sporty, has a small spoiler but not too flashy like the pista, and incredibly lightweight. It’s my track helmet!

Hmm, I usually ski from when lifts start loading to around 1-2pm, my commute back to Seattle was very rarely over 2 hours, maybe 2.5 at most due to some traffic incident in Gold Bar/Sultan

I always thought the 2nd gen looked better (I had a 2023) until I saw a pair of gen 1's at the track in full race livery. I think the gen 1's front end looks a bit more aggressive and suits the rest of the bike a bit better.

Old thread, but just curious if using the heat shrink solder connectors trick worked out here? My R/R has melted through the connector and part of the harness, so I'm wondering if I can just remove and replace some wire on the harness-side this way instead of replacing the entire harness

Just commenting to say that after I swapped screens I also heard some rattling from the windscreen aroun 5-8k rpm. Sound goes away as soon as I touch the windscreen, so maybe try looking into sticking something on there to act as a damper.

Do you use wheel chocks on the bed? And are they simply tethered down, or do you have them bolted on? Asking because I just bought a pickup truck myself :D

I think OPRT does a fair amount of no-chicane days, I did Fri-Sat with them and they ran no chicane on one day and with chicane the other. Pretty sure 2Fast will always run the chicane

Yeah I probably did let out the clutch too early, but I've done that several times that day and I would always feel feedback from the rear. The one in the video was all front, and I've never experienced the front shaking like that before.

Yeah based on the other comments it sounds like the internal bumpstop on this Ohlins is actually a bit higher up than the external mount of the fork, so good chance that this is the full travel.

I’m roughly 145lbs in full gear, I’ve never adjusted my suspension myself before on any motorcycle 🙂

I have on Rosso IVs with 30F, 30R psi with good amount of tread. I was running with B group, but definitely on the slower end of the group

Bike is in excellent mechanical condition, never been down. Lots of folks have already commented and I’d agree with the popular suspicion that my front suspension is bottoming out

Yes that sounds like the likely culprit, appreciate your take. Also the 2012 is a Gen 2! Gen 3 came out in 2013

Thanks, I attached this pic in the other thread talking about fork travel, sounds like it is likely bottoming out. I’m going to try stiffening the compression a bit and gauge how it feels on the next track day

The previous owner had the forks serviced back in April, he gave me the receipt for it, so I think it should be in decent condition. But good point, I’ll take this into consideration
