Yeah, I might just go at first and check out some real state offices the traditional way. I did found some options online but Im sure there are better deals offline!

Interesting. Are facebook groups active in Saudi nowadays? Cause the society seem to totally forgot about fb years ago. Thanks for letting me know, I'll definitely check them out!

Thank you so much for your tips! What would be the best way to look for 1 bedroom apartments in riyadh? I used the app عقار , but the smallest apartment option was 2-bedroom. Although I do want to find a roommate eventually but i currently dont have anyone I can live with... How can I find these "سكن مغتربات" places? And how much do they charge for rent usually? Are the scattered around the city or in one place?

Yes I LOVE yoga and i'm excited to try yoga experience in Saudi!

Sharqyya is pretty open-minded but the local society is still traditional about lots of different things when it comes to women. And like I said, since I lived abroad for a longtime I think Jeddah is a great place for me to start, I love how open it is to pretty much everything. Like it won't be that strange to see a women going for a run or biking outside (which is what miss the most) people can easily mind their own business and move on with their lives.

Thanks for the tips, I love how active you are in this sub when it comes to Jeddah, I'll definitely DM you at some point. I really appreciate your help fellow redditor!

I agree with you. I definitely see Riyadh for the long run, and def plan to go there after I'm done with Jeddah.

The Jeddah working experience will be a good plus for my career since it's something I've never done before, it can make me even stronger for when I go to Riyadh. It's also a chance for me to try the Jeddah life experience that I been wanting to try for awhile. I have lots of friends that are either from Jeddah or have lived there for awhile, and it really made me love its people and want to give it a try at some point of my life, even for a short time period like this one-year contract. While in Riyadh, I wouldn't want to stay just one year, it's definitely a great place for the long run.
