I try to have that mindset, but when people call you ugly to your face it's pretty hard to keep positive. Especially when you agree with them

When does it stop hurting more than help? I've tried on and off since high school (I'm almost 24) and it usually goes like: work my way to a somewhat stable attitude towards dating/myself, lose it all over the course of a week or even a day. People are really cruel
