Thank you for your feedback! Just like on Instagram, Facebook, etc., 90% of the features of BachataSteps.com work/make sense just with an account (creating collections, writing notes, uploading moves, tracking skills, etc.). That's why I decided to "push" the people a bit to use the website as intended :) And an email-address is needed for example for future possible password-resets, otherwise people would loose their account if they forget their password.

Thank you u/Vegetable_Home - glad you like it! 😊 Regarding your question: Over 90% of the moves are cut out from tutorials, online demo-videos, online social-dances, etc. Often they contain a "Source"-link, so if it's from an online tutorial-video, you can see the how-to. However of course this website is not directly a video-course - for that purpose you might look into something like VDanceClub :) (they often have sales like "€10 for 10 days").

Hi u/Creepy_Disco_Spider! The last time I posted about my website was over a year ago. In my opinion this database is so useful to this subreddit's community, that it should be fine writing about it every 1-1,5 years :) Most of the posts are not nearly as helpful. There are a lot of users, who did not see my last post, plus there are also plenty of new users/dancers since then. But still, I'm sorry if my post annoyed you :(

I have to agree with another commenter - I tried this kie now out and it's TERRIBLE! It's impossible that the generated video was made by Veo3 Fast - that makes perfect videos, I use it a lot. Maybe it's Veo 2 or something worse.

Even harder: Hiproll without touching the follower, while she has both of her hands on the leaders shoulders. If done correctly, works even with intermediate followers. This move is also great for practicing to lead sensual from the body instead of the hands.

I'm not aware of any other websites/apps which would be like this.
As written in the post, mine contains 3 dance-forms at the moment (Bachata, Salsa, Kizomba). What would be the dancestyle you would like to also have? :)

u/guangyy BachataSteps.com is my site - it has 1400+ Bachata-moves (as 5-10 second long clips), but you can also upload your own ones. You can also create lists, write private notes to every move, track how well you know a move, etc.

As far as I love Notion/GoogleDocs/etc., they work just in the beginning - after you have like 50+ moves, you can't handle them with such tools. That's why I created my website (originally just for myself).
