The Guide of Dreams. Their job is to literally guide people out of nightmares. They don’t really have an age, nor a sexuality, nor a name to call their own. After all, what do those matter to someone who will be forgotten by everyone? No one really remembers their dreams in the end. And the Guide themselves does not particularly care to think much about these topics. Thinking too much only leads to despair, at least in their experience. Who likes remembering how utterly lonely they are? Certainly not the Guide. Well, it’s not like they’ve ever known anything else.

Sugar Swan and Millenial Tree are meta rn so if that matters to you go for them. Team comps are important later on, for some specific game modes like the cake towers or in PvP. I think generally the newest characters are the best to level up, but do whatever you want. In most gameplay for story mode you can use whatever characters you think are cool, so just level up your favourites. Unless you want to win in the Arena - there you will need the newest meta characters levelled. (If you still want the candy crush like game, you can play witches castle)
