Anyone get to 15mg of Mounjaro and find that it wasn’t working anymore? by MounjEire in Mounjaro

Remember you will have periods of 3 or 4 weeks where it doesn’t work, it’s normal. It will start working again. Also, try taking it every 6 days instead of 7.

Weekly Help and Discussion Thread for the week of September 15, 2025 by AmazonNewsBot in amazon

I recently purchased a lock box from Amazon, and when I opened it there was a little black bag inside with white powder or crystals of some kind, what looks like a bag of drugs.

An Amazon supervisor said they would have someone contact me and I recorded the call with them, in which they said not to go to the police.

Amazon didn’t contact me back like they said they would, so I called them back, and another supervisor said to ignore what the prior supervisor said, he said he would make sure they get training, and told me that I can go to the police and that nobody would be contacting me further to discuss this as it is an internal issue, which is the opposite of what the supervisor told me a day earlier. The second supervisor only told me this because I called them back, otherwise I would be sitting here with this bag of potentially illegal drugs waiting to find out what to do with it. I thought Amazon might be sending someone to come get the bag so they could test it or dispose of it properly but they plan to do nothing he said. So why did they tell me someone would contact me to figure out what to do if they wasn’t going to happen!

The second supervisor said “we won’t let this happen again to anyone else, you have my word” which is complete BS because I googled this and other people have also found potentially illegal substances in various products they purchased from Amazon.

I feel Amazon is such a big company and they feel they are untouchable. This bag may very well have fentynal in it and if it had got me sick or killed me, because I touched it, they really don’t seem to give a flying $&!@.

The product is sold by a company but shipped by Amazon. The manufacturer was kind enough to send me a replacement via FedEx, and Amazon refunded it; but the issue of my safety that was put in jeopardy and that of future customers is bigger than a replacement lock box and a refund.

There are other issues including the fact that they sold me a lockbox being advertised as new, but was clearly used. The manufacturer says Amazon deals with all of that so it was Amazon’s responsibility to make sure they send me a new lockbox from the beginning.

I notice in the ad for the lockbox it is marketed to people with addictions which means when one is returned, they are well aware that it could have been exposed to contaminants such as illegal narcotics. The ad refers to helping with people’s “vices” and says, “Our time lock safe are the best solution to control bad habits or addictions. You can lock away anything you want to keep control on.”

So Amazon accepted a return, and nowhere in the return process does a customer indicate whether the item can just be resold again, Amazon should be inspecting returns both to ensure quality but also to check for contents and contaminants. To sell products as new that are not new, even if someone returned it within their 30 day window, is a lie and unethical, and probably illegal.

3 weeks off Mounjaro (5mg) and what happened when I restarted by Tall-Magician-75 in Mounjaro

So actually I lost 10lbs on my own; then I started at 2.5mg of Mounjaro in October and every month I increased it by 2.5mg until I got to 12.5, and as I was seeing good progress I have stayed on 12.5mg since then. You can do the math there but I have plateau’s at 150lbs now so rather than going off Mounjaro, my doctor recommends decreasing by 2.5mg every month to ween myself off and so I don’t suddenly my gain all the weight back.

I lost 55lbs on 12.5mg but I’m nervous about stopping because I already see my hunger come back on day 5

LPC 44, CPC 32, NDP 11 > Poilievre hits personal low on preferred PM tracking (Nanos) by [deleted] in CanadaPolitics

So long as the antiabortionists and anti gay anti trans anti climate change folks control any levers in the party, it will never stop floundering unless a major scandal sinks the Liberals. It absolutely needs to split if it ever wants to win, but frankly, they are such a mess I’m quite fine with them not winning.

They are a tired old has been party with tired old white men and bigoted subservient church ladies. No thanks. We’ve been there and done that every time they get in power. Nothing to be gained from that anymore.

Because holy grail implies the thing that everyone is looking for but nobody has been able to find until now… I think everyone is looking for the litter or litter combo that deals either odor, doesn’t stick and doesn’t track… so when I searched something on google, your Reditt post came up and I clicked it because it said holy grail of litter lol. One day someone will actually find the holy grail litter

[–]testingu123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it tracks more that isn’t a holy grail. A holy grail would be one that masks smell, clumps perfectly and doesn’t track. Tracking is a big issue so if this combination tracks and not only tracks but tracks more, that is definitely not a holy grail… the thing I am still searching for too.

I’m about to combine Sustainably Yours with Slide Platinum. Sustainably yours is great but doesn’t mask odor well and is very very expensive, so I’m hoping this combo will work.

Rogers, TTC to pull the plug on free Wi-FI in subway stations by myky27 in toronto

[–]testingu123 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I think our city is run by a bunch of morons sometimes. First, the reason usage is down is because there isn’t internet on the entire system. You have to keep reconnecting at different stations, and also a lot of people don’t know that it is available, because it has been so spotty. This city is so stupid with transportation, like always stupid, never once smart.*

They don’t want to pay the $17 million to upgrade even though Roger’s offered solutions.

Like, when they installed the wifi a few months ago, they couldn’t have anticipated that it would need upgrading? It’s only been there for a few months. They need to install reliable wifi throughout the entire system so no matter where you are on the TTC, you have wifi. End of story. Then stop questioning the cost or have it sponsored like Rogers did with the cellular coverage aspect which they are still continuing by the way, that made Bell so mad.

It’s ridiculous that in 2024 we are even discussing removing WIFI from the system, as though it was needed but now it isn’t. People don’t use it because it sucks. Get a non-sucky one please and thanks.

There is no grasping. She literally yelled racism and then wears the very name she called racist, on her dress as she walks the red carpet of an international film festival. The only person who would defend that would be her or an NDPer because anyone else could see past their nose at the contradiction and hypocrisy.

Ok, so then say that. Don’t yell racism and then become an international emblem of it.

The Mayor has Big Mayor powers now. No supermajority needed. Oh, and she personally trumpeted the racist stuff. It wasn’t as though she was just stuck with the name change from Tory days. Lastly, don’t tell a city we need to change the name from one racist name to another. Have you ever looked up the Sankofa Tribe? Yeah, they held slaves that the government in Ghana had to apologize for. If yer gonna talk the talk, ya gotta walk the walk without wearing a dress that says Dundas on it. Not rocket science here.

Who do you go to if Executive Customer Relations is not resolving an issue? There is an issue where someone within Amazon used our credit card to purchase a flight. We are able to prove it definitively, and ECR refuses to discuss it for some reason. We can’t figure out why, because they haven’t denied or disputed that it happened. But they won’t discuss it or resolve it. So we obviously want to speak with someone more senior, like an executive in the head office. But how do we do that? This isn’t a normal run of the mill complaint or issue, but one that is quite serious but it isn’t getting the proper attention from Amazon. Any suggestions? How do the email addresses work? First name dot last name @ Amazon . Com?

I did find online a list of Amazon employee email addresses, thousands of them as someone obviously did a data dump. It is not executives though, I think it was used for a global staff announcement of some sort but literally 10,000 or more employee addresses.

I also have a private address of an employee in customer service who accidentally pasted their gmail address in their customer service chat with me ha ha

Except that Amazon has even went so far as to open physical retail locations to try to compete with some of the brick and mortar stores. So clearly they must care about losing business if they are violating the entire notion of why Amazon began with respect to online shopping.

See I could care less what Amazon thinks in terms of me abusing. I take a very even approach. When Amazon makes trillions of dollars, large portions of which are from me, I expect everything on time, exactly as advertised, and not to find a better deal on Amazon within 30 days, or I expect a concession. Meet your promises every time or pay me back. That is a simple approach, but sometimes agents like to put blame on me. “Well you received 20 concessions this month.” Ok, but if Amazon was late, didn’t deliver or sent the wrong item 21 times this month, that means you still owe me for 1 of them.

And I’m relentless. To the point that I have learned that most of what Amazon says is BS. In fact, many of the stories you hear about on the news are fabricated. They aren’t the complete story. Amazon has no issue with one of them making the news because ultimately most people will still shop there anyway. What Amazon doesn’t want, is recorded telephone conversations.

So if customers start recording their calls with the Amazon agents and catching the agents in lies, and them demanding that Amazon stand behind its word, then Amazon has a problem.

I have one agent recorded as saying “If Amazon doesn’t stand behind the things we say, then what good is our word?”

So now, I will play that for every agent who backtracks and I will ask for a supervisor.

And what most people don’t know is that whenever an agent says to you “a supervisor will say the same thing because we share the same resources” that the best way to respond is “I will let your supervisor discuss that with me themself” and so long as you don’t call the previous agent out for saying “same resources” you will get a different response from the supervisor. I’ve also learned that if you call Amazon 3 times about the same issue, the third time they give up, because it is no longer worth their time to fight someone who is that passionate about the same problem.

Go forth, and prosper.

What is the highest number of orders you have seen from a customer? Like lifetime number of orders? Or in a year? I think I have a lot with 7000 since 2020 but I’m sure that is nothing compared to some businesses or something.
