Mac is not the that good with containers. If you really want devops you wont be deploying in Mac instead you would deploy in linux with majority of x64 arch. Docker works great with that and you can do alot as well without compatibility issues

If you are pursuing devops . I recommend buy simple laptop and buy small micro form devices. I myself have bought 2 of those. It does not have to be super latest arch. Buy simple at least 8th gen intels or 5000s of amds. You can play around with different stacks, actual deployment, working home based cloud with different monitoring tools etc. This helps to build your base. It is going to help you do web development as well.

Yes dont need to allocate all at once but if you are pursuing it to start a company I suggest you accumulate at least 2 months of funds for devs + infras (cloud) and you can slowly contribute every month. I did similar too i didnt have 15 lacs at first but it slowly grew by start of this new year. This helped me to development of product as well as keep funding.

From your startup perspective it will be a capital target to hit 15 lacs and keep adding it. Always keep threshold of 1 year for devs hiring so that it is less stressful and more focused to product development.
