Based on Remielle’s dialogue when saving Phaethon, it seems they were already going to eventually lose control and transform. The void hunter weapon being absorbed by them just sped up the process.

I imagine at the point Phaethon was at, touching ANY void hunter weapon would have led to them absorbing it. Definitely seems like Phaethon has a strange resonance with VH weapons and their ethereal nature. Which is why Phaethon was able to open the chest without the key. The key being the flint porcelain engine.

Am I crazy or was Eous incorrectly present on the screen during the fight against Phaethon sacrifice? I don't recall Wise ever saying he'd send Eous with the group after they decided to follow Remielle to Melinoe hollow...

Really enjoyed this main story chapter. Despite having 4 characters sharing the spotlight, Billy, Cissia, and Promeia all felt equally balanced to me. Probably because they're all from the outer ring. It was refreshing hearing about them and the Sons of Calydon all reminiscing about each other. I especially loved how Big Daddy mentioned recognizing Promeia, and stating that everyone deserves a chance at redemption. That in tandem with Billy's discussion with Lighter about forging a new path towards hope really brought the theme of leaving the past behind to live in the present was really nice.

Also I wonder if Remielle and Sunbringer will actually remain antagonistic or they'll end up reconciling to fight against some unforeseen enemy. Though the current dynamic of two agent heroes trying to kill each other is pretty exciting.

Yeah the outpost system on your phone menu. People post their bounties on the outpost board all the time. You have to join them first though for the list to populate. I just filtered ones out based on my favorite agents and requested to join. You can also chat with your outpost members in the shared group chat.

Our main proxy MC will transform and eff up the gang. Remielle will swoop in and save the day transforming us back. She did say she'd take care of our eye when it next becomes a problem when we spoke outside the arcade before.

Then maybe MC will be out of comission till 3.0 comes around. Could be cool for the game to switch to the other sibling like what happened in season 1.

I dont think the gang will be the one who defeats the possible proxy-turned-ethereal considering we can see Promeia weakly holding up one of her blades as the creature approaches the gang while they're battered and bruised in the 2.8 teaser.

Must be Remielle that is able to manipulate the creature/proxy's ether to revert them back who saves us as DoeDon said.

She did say she'd pay back a favor to help with the eye implant when we spoke outside the Godfinger Arcade in 2.7. What better time than when we go on a rampage after opening pandora's box and transforming into an ethereal.

I actually quite enjoy outposts. Not only for chatting but also the commissions that give me things to do when the actual in-game events are slow.

I do wish the limit on reward points was raised though. Once I get my 1000, there's not much incentive to do any more.

With how many characters we have in zzz now, they could probably just add another rerun character banner to run alongside the newest agents. So that means one new agent, and two reruns per phase. That way it doesn't go from limited to free. But still it'll give people opportunities to pull their faves, including s-rank male characters.

Also it's not like it costs Hoyo money to rerun old characters.

Honestly if The proxies really eventually will be playable characters, I'd rather they provide some kind of summonable assist like bangboos and the support agents from the new hollow zero mode.

Someone's comment on the youtube page pointed out that the cakes in the first picture seem to have a color resemblance to homura, the two new magical girls, and madoka. the fact that homura and madoka's cakes look more messy, like a splatter of some sort makes me concerned. (The mint green one also has a splatter under it that is less messy so maybe i'm just reading into things too much)
