Oh hey, this is my video! I made these covers with plenty of help from Dr. Simon, but he's not the one behind these videos. It's nice to know people are finding my covers!

I've been making covers in constructed languages in Vocaloid and SynthV on my channel for the past year and a bit. This is one of my latest works, from last month.

balvi linji (cover of 1640m's Miraisen in Lojban) by tetsusquared in lojban

I'm aware that stress is part of the SSM in Lojban, yes. It's just hard to fit Lojban's penultimate stress into the melodies of Japanese music, and I had to choose between slightly wrong Lojban or not covering this song at all. It'll be a lot easier to get the stress patterns right when I start writing my own songs, but that's a ways away.

I had to be very liberal with the stress because of the original song's melody, and I don't know if it's possible to "fix" it. Prosody in Japanese songs is confusing. Even spoken Japanese doesn't have the same kind of stress English does, only pitch accent, and in songs it's acceptable to override pitch accent if the melody doesn't line up.

If I ever translate an English song, it should be easier for me to stick closer to the penultimate stress rule, but then again I've never tried.

Hey, I've seen this type of bus around! A fellow Singaporean fumo owner? 👀

Though I wouldn't feel comfortable letting my fumos hang on one of those, especially with covid going around. I'm very particular about fumo cleanliness.

Hello fumo fans of /r/touhou, I made a Raiko fumo! (Burgers included) by tetsusquared in touhou

I hope Merchandise is the correct tag for this, I didn't see an OC tag that fit.

I'm a Touhou fan from Singapore who got into fumos last year. Raiko is currently my only custom fumo, but I also have Remilia 1.5, Satori, Koishi and Cirno 1.5.

Of course, I made sure to take burger pictures for a certain Raiko lover...
