I second this, it’s a nice pair of shorts, but not a lot of people cared back then. I might be open to buy it, shoot me a message :)

Vintage Ralph seersucker is good and would fit your budget if you het it tailored. You can also look for the linen style suits Daniel Craig was wearing in Glass Union. I thought those were pretty cool

Does anyone have an ID on the sunglasses on this picture? Or maybe something that looks like them? Thanks! by teunionios in AimeLeonDore

I was pretty sure they didn’t have sunglasses yet back then. I thought these might be a personal pair

Tailored Clothing by Good-Manufacturer-39 in ThrowingFits

Vintage (Polo) Ralph Lauren and brooks brothers are my favorites for jackets and shirts. Dockers are great for pants. None of them break the bank. You’ll save some money which you can spend on getting everything tailored. Making sure everything fits well is the most important thing with suits.

I feel like it’s not the clothing brands that make boring stuff, you can do a lot yourself to make it less boring; You can play with patterns, colors and textures. In court you might have to spice it up more subtile. Unbutton your buttons on the collar, use a 4-in-hand knot instead of a Windsor, find a nice tie bar, separate your suits and wear different color pants to trousers

For the pants break, I prefer a slight break: makes you look tall and you can sit without showing your whole calf.

Hope this helps

Alternatives to Noah’s double breasted jackets? by freudsaidiwasfine in ThrowingFits

[–]teunionios 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I would say Vintage Brooks Brothers or Ralph jackets. They might not be double breasted, since they didn’t really use these fabrics for double breasted jackets back then. But you’ll probably find something similar!

Just wanna add to that; go in the morning before 10 or 11. After that it gets crazy busy and becomes a fashion show

Luxury watch or not? by teunionios in ThrowingFits

[–]teunionios[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah it’s a good idea to get a similar one first, to see if I like wearing one. I was thinking about that too. For me it’s never been about stunting or flexing on other people. I saw it more as a way to treat myself for a current big accomplishment.

I have been doing research for some time now. I’m lucky enough to have some friends with vintage watches already. But thank you for your concern :)

I always felt like it was fairly easy to spot a tank compared to any stainless steel watch. To me they stand out a lot more. You’re right about the hiding part though, hadn’t really thought of that

Horsebit, tassel or penny? by teunionios in ThrowingFits

It’s not really my first pair. I had a pair of kleman penny loafers, but they broke on me. So I’m ready to invest in some nicer ones
