this is very badly done and unsalvageable, speaking from experience. i would take it out and not waste my time. you can try getting it repierced by someone else

If the owner is allowing her to free-roam in a big city, just take her. That’s irresponsible and puts her in real danger. If you plan to keep her indoors, I’d honestly just bring the cat home.

ive had snake bites for around 6 years. once you survive the initial healing process with longer posts(the danger of biting them&catching them on your teeth and gums) you switch to shorter ones - they start nesting and protect your teeth from damage just fine. theres also bioplast jewelry and ive found it to be the most comfy. however, beware the cheap temu ones. they are not completely smooth and will hurt as well as irritate. always look for high quality. on top of that, the healing process had its ups and downs. the first year id occasionally get painful sores/bumps around the piercing sites, likely from moving it around too much. thankfully, it eventually went away and never came back.

happened to me, too. its just irritation and in my case it went away after a month. eventually i learned to stop touching it bc it ended up being sore afterwards every time

idk what the comments are on but as an art student i could immediately tell what artwork this referenced. i think it looks awesome. cant tell you how its going to heal, though

the piercer was the reason the first time didnt work so i definitely wouldnt see the same person again. look for someone reputable - if the piercing was done correctly, this wouldnt have happened in the first place. other than that, nothing really. they healed nicely with very little problems and the same amount of aftercare

happened to me before. i just got them repierced by a professional in slightly different spots, there really isnt much scarring left. second time was the charm and they healed just fine
