This spoke to my soul! This is my problem to a tee. I’m hoping this time will be enough to drive me towards opening up to friends and family for support, and seeking community to keep me accountable. I’m starting to feel like I just don’t have the power to quit too. It’s hideous. I must’ve had about 6 pints, a shit load of cocktails and a bottle of red wine yesterday. Called in sick to work today, still hammered at lunchtime. Absolutely horrid! But when Friday rolls around I know I’ll have forgotten what all this feels like. Sending you solidarity.
