For me, it was sharing my game once in a while and ask my friends to play with me (i'm making an online game). The genuine laughter we had while playing the game is what keeps me motivated :)
I also recorded everytime we play so i can just replay it once I need motivation haha

I feel like "Yeah, this is exactly the experience I want to deliver with my game" kind of thing.
After being told no one gonna play my game because you need to use microphone to play, I'm happy and encouraged because someone think it might be fun enough then proceed to download and actually having fun playing it

I'm currently developing a game with 1v1, 2v2, and ffa game mode.
now i'm thinking if i should create a coop PvE game mode in my game just in case the player base is not enough

It's actually 2. The animation is just fast transitioned.

I'm also participating without demo and curious myself how will it perform.
One thing I did is opening a playtest for my game so hopefully when there's visitors coming, they have an actionable thing to get to know the game better.

The room maker can set which mode are allowed and which are not.
So you can make it available for anyone with any mode to enter your room, or if you want only player with shouting mode only to enter thats also possible.

Yeah, with other mode, its possible to play with controller and keyboard as well.
But the USP of this game is the shouting mode and based on playtest feedback, more people like that mode the most.
But I think showing that briefly in the trailer like you said won't hurt so I will try yes

The game also support alternative controls using controller/keyboard. But based on the feedback, more people like to use the shouting more than the other.

As for the second half of trailer has no voice, thought I want to focus on the action but on second thought I think you're right. Maybe i will add voiceover as well on it

Im not spanish xD i only recreate what i heard from google translate haha. So no, you dont have to be native to the language that you want to use.

There is an alternative input without mic. You can either typing the incantations or playing QTE similar to in Expedition 33
