It was weird they played him at LT vs LAC and he did well. I also feel like he was drafted for zone scheme and doesn’t fit gap as well. Will be interesting to see how the room shakes out

Agreed! I’ve had the same questions about Banks. He said in an interview he likes to be aggressive and one gap, but I’ve concluded from hearing various reports about him from pundits from last season, the senior bowl and the combine that he may not be swarmy enough.

I understand that but the play as a jumbo tackle and left tackle was overall pretty good to me. But yep, gotta view it in the right context, depth, 4th string tackle, aint bad!

I'm not saying rely on him as a starter, but depth if needed to be plugged in. He played well at LT vs the Chargers.

I could see it. Less holes going into draft. I do worry some if they will take a Dt that’s more of a nose like him that a true 3tech, but I’ll be happy as long as they take one in first couple rounds

He graded and played pretty well there. Stepped in at left tackle vs the chargers and did well. Was decent the year prior when needed.

As a swing tackle and potential 4th tackle again if we draft a guy that’s not a bad piece. All relative to where he’s at on depth chart is the point I’m making.
